Tommy Anderton, President/Chief Executive Officer

Tommy is a 1972 graduate of Tullahoma High School.  He received a BA Degree in finance from MTSU in 1976.  Tommy has industry training from Tennessee Bankers School, Graduate School of Banking in LSU and University of Virginia Colgate-Darden School of Finance.

Tommy has banking experience from 1976 with Commerce Union Bank, DeKalb County Bank and Regions Bank.  He has been in a CEO capacity since 1987.  Tommy’s family has a lifelong relationship with Traders Bank.  His father, Estel, was Executive Vice President/Director andwas with Traders Bank 36 years.

Tommy joined the Traders Team on October 1, 2009 as Traders opened an office in Shelbyville.  He married Linda Channell from Tullahoma in 1976 and they have one son Scott, who recently married and living in Nashville. Tommy’s leadership experiences and performance accomplishments are numerous.
